Mata Amritanandamayi was born on September 27, 1953 (age 55) Parayakadavu, it is situated in kerala India.

Mata Amritanandamayi is generally called as Indian holy chief. Her supporters address as Amma or Ammachi (mother). Outstanding to her hug practice she is as well called as ‘The Hugging Saint’.

Amritanandamayi was born as Sudhamani in the Indian state of kerala in 1953. Her relatives were occupied in the fishing deal. Mata Amritanandamayi had to drop away the school at very small age to help her family efficiently.
