Swamini Mangalananda Giri was born in Germony, Mangalananda grew up near Stuttgart. In 1992, she established Kriya beginning from Rajarshi Peterananda, and afterward met her master paramahamsa Hariharananda in different, ashrams, and also traveled with him throughtout Europe.

After studying in philosophy for some years Swamiji began studying tablets in Germany at Tubingen University.

 

Though, she chose to maintain her medical degree at the University of Vienna, enabling her to entire her whole her studies while together helping and living with her master. She established her MD in July, 2000.

 

Soon after the conclusion of her studies, in September, 2000, she was designed as a priest in the Giri basic arrange and given the name Swami Mangalananda, which means enjoyment of auspiciousness.

 

Swami Mangalananda is the first female monk in the extraction of Paramahamsa Hariharananda. She perform Kriya Yoga program in the Tattendorf ashram in Austria and throughout Europe.
