You have forgotten to say that Maharishi had disappeared after the sudden death of his Guru and that the Shankara - Order does not support Maharishi - even thogh Maharishi made peole think that they are initiated into the holy tradition. Maharishi teaches ancient Vedanta - the Shankara order teaches advaita vedanta.
