Hindu Guru Sri Yukteswar Giri

Sri Yukteswar Giri was born on 10 May 1855 in Serampore, West Bengal, India, and Died on 9 March 1936 (aged 80) Puri, Orissa, India.

Sri Yukteswar was born in Serampore, India to Kshetranath Karar and Kadambini. The knowledge that readers are well-known with in Yogananda’s Autobiography of a Yogi was evident at an untimely age. He was a brilliant student, thought his official education finished with a few existence at two particular colleges.

Where he developed an attention in the Serampore Christian Missionary Collages, This interest would later express itself in his book, the divine Science, which shows the union of the technical principles original Yoga and the Christian Bible. He also attended Calcutta Medical College for approximately two years.
